Recipes

(because, as we know, gays love a potluck)
Homemade Biscuits
2 c flour, 1 tbsp sugar, 3 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 c lard (or butter alternate), 1 well beaten egg (or apple sauce), 2/3 c. milk (or alternate)
Sift dry ingredients. Cut in lard (or replacement) until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Combine eggs and milk. Add to mixture all at once and knead for about 15 strokes. Turn out onto floury board and roll to 3/4 thickness. Cut with glass dipped in flour. Place on greased baking sheet and bake at 450 for 15 minutes.
